Why Cannon Carry

No sales floor.
Your safety and progress come first.

Michael begins with a conversation, validates that no live firearms are in the training room, teaches the universal safety rules, and uses solid-rubber training guns before live fire.

If a student is hesitant at the range, they may observe first and then shoot solo with Michael coaching from behind their shoulder. Safety stays direct; encouragement stays personal.

Meet your instructor

A teacher first.

"I will be successful if my students are safe and confident with and around firearms."

USCCA-credentialed firearms instructor

Michael Cannon is a 33-year retired U.S. military veteran with a lifetime of teaching experience - including four years helping new recruits master the technical skills required for their military specialties.

He created Cannon Carry after seeing too many people at the range struggle with safety and accuracy because the fundamentals had never been taught well. His approach is patient, direct, and built around the student - not a sales floor.
